The team at Millfield Surgery are delighted to announce that the General Medical Council & Health Education England have assessed & approved the practice for GP training.
The standard GP Registrar placements are for 6 months. These are Doctors who have been qualified for at least 2 years and are on a 3 year specialist training programme. Dr Paula Evans has been a GP trainer for 15 years and will be the named supervisor.
Their training requires a number of assessments which we hope you will assist with. These include videoing and recording face to face and telephone consultations to develop communication skills and we would be grateful if you can give your written consent for this when requested. Periodically we will also ask you to complete Patient Satisfaction Questionnaires.
We trust that you will join us in welcoming these GPs of the future to our Practice.
