THE PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP MILLFIELD SURGERY EASINGWOLD

Millfield Surgery has a Patient Participation Group, which represents the patients of Millfield Surgery and acts as a link between patients and the Practice.

Its primary aim is to foster GOOD HEALTH among the community. It is also a vehicle of communication between the Practice and its patients.

The Patient Participation Group consists of a committee of ten members. It meets approximately four times a year.

Over the last year, the Patient Participation group has held five stalls in Easingwold Market Place on a Friday. These stalls aim to promote Healthy Living and display information on activities in the area ranging from the Park Run, which takes place on Millfields on Saturdays, to social events in the Galtres Centre and The George Hotel, which aim to combat loneliness by offering a social event for the elderly.

We have been very pleased by how many local residents have visited the stall. We plan to run further stalls in 2023.

Future events and activities of the Patient Participation Group will be posted on this site.

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

We are encouraging patients to give their views about how the practice is doing. We would like to be able to find out the opinions of as many patients as possible and are asking if people would like to provide their email addresses so we can contact you by email every now and again to ask you a question or two.

Are you interested in leaving your email details? If so please complete the online form below.

Your contact details will only be used for this purpose and will be kept safely.

Getting Your View

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
