A Little About Millfield Surgery
We are a four partner, dispensing Practice, providing General Medical Services to a population of 7350. Almost half this population inhabits outlying villages and farms.
We are located at the edge of the town, working from purpose built premises, looking onto community grasslands and the Hambleton Hills, with both patient and staff parking on-site.

Working in Partnership
We enjoy good working relationships, within an active Primary Health Care Team, providing General Medical Services to our local Cottage Hospital, St Monica’s, and we aim to provide a friendly and efficient service to all our patients.
We also work within a federated group of local Practices - The City & Vale GP Alliance (CAVA) exists to ensure high quality patient care and the sustainability of member practices, by developing a supportive network with other aspirational organisations.
CAVA WebsiteTo All Patients Visiting Millfield Surgery
May I take this opportunity to politely remind patients when visiting Millfield Surgery by motor vehicle to park in the designated parking bays at the Surgery Car Park. If these are all full then please use the public Car Park for Millfields Park.

Hull York Medical School (HYMS)
This practice provides training for 4th year medical students from Hull York Medical School. When making an appointment to see a doctor the receptionist may ask you if you would take part in a supervised consultation involving a medical student. A GP partner from this practice will join the consultation to review the discussion with you and the student and ensure appropriate care and treatment is provided. You may prefer not to, but your cooperation in training the Doctors of the future would be greatly appreciated. http://www.hyms.ac.uk/
