Dear Patient,

Millfield Surgery is now almost 30 years old. In this time Easingwold and the surrounding area has continued to grow. As a result we are increasingly finding that we are short of clinical and administrative space within the current building and we have spent the last number of years looking at how we can increase our capacity to meet the future care needs of our patients.

We are pleased and excited to announce that we will shortly be undertaking some extensive extension works to the rear of the surgery. This will provide us with 8 new clinical rooms and some additional administrative space. We will also be undertaking a refit of our existing rooms to bring them up to date with today’s requirements.

Works are due to commence on 27th July and are expected to last approximately 8 months. The practice plans to continue to operate as normal and the building project will be phased to allow this. However, there will inevitably be a level of disruption with increased levels of noise and at times loss of working space. There may also be a reduction in care parking spaces during this time.

We very much appreciate your patience and understanding of any disruption that you may encounter during this period. We look forward to be being able share with you our new and improved building once the works are complete.
